Grownnews: Amsterdam - Scott Kelly, the US astronaut Space Agency (NASA) is a year in orbit has
returned to Earth in early March. Kelly spent 340 days on board the International
Space Station (ISS). While in orbit, Kelly watched the body of plants, and a
variety of other amazing things.
Mission
Kelly and Russian cosmonauts to the ISS is to determine the influence of space
on bagik body changes physically and psychologically. Interestingly, Kelly 5 cm
taller than when he left for the ISS. Aircraft astronaut ISS 3 percent higher.
How come? Science Alert Page penembahan assumes height is probably because the
spine has eksempatan Untik mmanjang because of gravity.
But,
unfortunately, Kelly's new height effect is only temporary. Once he's back on
Earth in a long enough period of time, gravity will make Kelly returned to
normal height. However, scientists are still figuring out how many months it
takes for your height Kelly returned to normal. In
2013, NASA launched a study to find out what caused the astronauts grow taller
with a focus paa spine. There are still some other studies that refer to this
topic.
Now,
Kelly was on Earth. He will 'learn' by scientists to emncari other changes that
may occur in the body teah while in space, including changes in bone, and
brain. Knowing what happens to the body in low gravity over long periods of
time provides guidance on how to prepare astonaut longer missions.
